Solving pain points for Yangzhou University Library, enhancing learning experience

01
Challenges of Intelligent Electricity Consumption in Libraries
The school faces numerous challenges, including a shortage of power outlets, unsatisfactory lighting conditions, and improper seat management. These problems not only inconvenience students' daily studies but may also have potential negative impacts on their physical health.

▲1. Insufficient Power Outlets: In the libraries of various campuses of Yangzhou University, due to the lack of power outlets on desks, students have to bring their own extension cords, resulting in a mess of wires and safety hazards.

▲2. Poor Lighting Conditions: Over time, the brightness of the top lighting in the library has decreased. Especially during rainy weather or in the evening, it is difficult for students to see books clearly, affecting their eyesight.

▲3. Frequent Seat Occupation: Due to the lack of an effective seat management system, students often occupy seats with books, water bottles, and other items, leaving no seats available for those who truly need them, thus causing conflicts.

02
Smart Electricity Consumption Solution for Libraries
To fundamentally solve the above problems, Junyue Technology has equipped Yangzhou University Library with IOT smart reading desk lamp columns. This product not only effectively solves the problem of insufficient power outlets but also provides a high-quality lighting environment and, combined with seat reservation software, achieves effective seat management and power safety.
Smart Reservation
——
Teachers and students can remotely reserve seats, remotely cancel reservations, check in on site, adjust lighting and power outlet switches, etc., greatly facilitating the use of library resources. Library administrators can view seat usage, occupancy rates, and electricity consumption data in the background, achieving digital management.

Smart Reading Desk Lamp
——
Four-person reading desks are equipped with U-shaped smart reading lamps. Each seat has an independent LED light, power outlet, e-ink screen, and touch buttons.

- LED Light: Uses low blue light and flicker-free design, meeting national AA-level eye protection lamp standards, effectively protecting students' eyesight.

- 3.5-inch E-ink Screen: Displays the real-time reservation status of the seat, the information of the person who made the reservation, and the reservation time period, making it easy for students to understand the seat usage situation.

- Touch Buttons: Allows for brightness adjustment of the lights, with independent control for each seat, allowing students to adjust the light brightness according to their needs.

- Power Supply: Power outlets with USB ports, making students feel more at ease during their studies. Each power supply has overload and leakage protection to ensure power safety.

Continuously Innovating for Intelligent Educational Furniture
Continuous innovation
Through the implementation of this project, Yangzhou University Library has not only improved the students' learning experience but also strengthened the management of library resources and ensured power safety. In the future, Junyue Technology will continue to be committed to creating a more convenient and comfortable learning environment for students.
